Recently a PSA has hit the United States by storm. It’s blowing up everywhere on the internet and is inspiring many people to vote, it’s been a very popular topic of conversation. The “Knock The Vote” PSA was obviously directed towards the American youth to try and encourage them to vote. Elderly people are the main cast for the PSA, they mock the youth by thanking them for not voting because they’ll help keep thing how they currently are. The directors of the PSA are using reverse psychology to trick the youth to go and vote and it is most certainly working. The elderly cast brings up strong points such as the new laws Trump has passed, how they help the rich, don’t care about school shootings, and how they don’t care about global warming because they will be dead soon. There are millions upon millions, quite possibly billions of people on the web which gives fake news various stages to spread on. There are various reasons concerning why fake news is presented in any defense. It could be to mislead the overall public or trick them.
